Bradh I created a custom assistant with the bang !gpt When using !gpt in the Kagi search field, I get redirected to Google Portugal. I would expect !gpt to utilize my custom bang. Thanks.
nobodywasishere This should be happening. What browser / OS are you using? If you're using Safari, I'd recommend changing the default search engine from DuckDuckGo to Ecosia or others (which don't have bang support) as it may be the case of DDG activating the bang before the Kagi extension has the chance to redirect it itself.
Bradh I am using Safari on macOS, and changing to Ecosia (from ddg) fixed it! Thanks, and I should have added more of my configuration info in the initial message.
Bradh i preferred DDG to avoid my searches going to a creepier search engine first before redirection; DDG seems to be least creepy of the Safari options. But I can't have it all with Safari, I guess 😀
