Kagi logs you out after X time

Kagi very annoyingly logs me out of my account after some seemingly random amount of time.

When it decides to log you out search stops working but saved/visited websites still work. Only happens to me on mobile.
I consider this to be a major bug as its been happening for months with no fix.

I am using Orion on mobile.

Hi, would you mind testing this on another browser(s)? Curious if it's a browser or Kagi issue.

RoxyRoxyRoxy I don’t think so as that could take months - its an interval of usually 1 or 2 months? But I did see this issue being brought up on the forum some time ago.

Could this be an issue of cookies or history erasure?

InternetChunk Ah I see, I thought it was more frequent. I'll poke around and see if anyone knows what might be happening on either side.

RoxyRoxyRoxy It just now happened again - actually immediately after I received an Error page while searching and using a VPN. I read that the VPN error is being addressed, maybe that could cause a log out (but not always)?

Oh interesting. Thanks for the info. I assume it was a 403 error that you got?
