There's an ongoing news event that's showing up in completely unrelated searches.

I searched for: when does avalanche.ca update their reports

Most of the results are expected, however, this news item also shows in the middle of the results:

I've made no personal ranking adjustments to nbcnews. And my region is set to Canada.

Rob Reiner news does not belong in a query about avalanche forecasts. While it's a popular news story at the moment, it just doesn't make sense in this context.

I can confirm this for CA results as well. It's about third from the bottom for me:

Interesting that it snuck in there with all the relevant results.

RoxyRoxyRoxy I haven't noticed unrelated items sneaking into search no. It jumped out at me on that search since it was such an active story and showing on a very specific (and very unrelated) search query.
