The words Akarnae epub do not find the most relevant page

https://kagi.com/search?q=akarnae+epub shows multiple illegal sources while it does not show https://www.kobo.com/ww/en/ebook/akarnae-4 at all.

I expected an extremely relevant page which has both words from the search expression right in the title to show up.

I checked, robots.txt allows it

Disallow: /ww/*
Allow: /ww/en

So then why not.

Perhaps because the focus is now on AI instead of search.

It shows up for "Akarnae ebook". I think showing results which let you download an epub when you search for an epub makes total sense. Kobo books are usually DRM protected and I'm not sure if it makes sense to show it to users who are specifically looking for an epub.

But either way, those results don't come from Kagi. Neither Bing nor Google show Kobo for that result, so there's no way for Kagi to show it here.

Yes, I would argue for most users these results are the most relevant - if you're searching for an epub specifically you likely want a file download and not a store page. As @fxgn said as well, not sure if there's much we can do here anyway given the upstreams. Happy to have discussion with the community on this.
