I often write out messages in English to Chinese, and receive inconsistent results when requesting a translation. Specifically, sometimes Kagi Translate will give me what the different options mean, while other requests, it'll just bring up a list.
I haven't been able to replicate what exactly triggers the difference but below, for example, I stated (in English),
"I'm not sure but I'm also not a high enough user class to see where they may be given out. Do you know the rank or level that is required to access that forum?"
with the screenshot attached as a response. This has been observed across Safari, Zen, Firefox, and Chrome, in both private and regular browsing modes, with extensions such as AdBlock.
I usually expect a variety of options (which I received) but with their English meaning behind the translation such as "This is more informal, such as how you would talk to a friend as you're arriving at an event" to provide context.
