When displaying a location preview within Kagi Search, the ranking number is shown on the indication icon. In the below example, you can see 1 shown, as it is the top-ranked result that is displayed (as one would expect).
I believe that the number should be removed. It is cause for confusion, as a user may expect other numbers and corresponding locations to be displayed in the preview. The number only makes sense in the context of the overall map view, wherein multiple results are listed and correspondingly numbered.
