While looking up some hotels in the west of Scotland recently, some weird results popped up. These seem to be the result of poor regionalisation (I am based in the UK, and my IP is set to Glasgow via iCloud Private Relay).
When looking up the Ardlui Hotel near Loch Lomond, the second result shown is a hotel in Mexico.
When looking up Cameron House, another hotel near Loch Lomond, none of the results are relevant to my location. Most are in England, and some are in the US.
When looking up the Loch Lomond Arms Hotel (a seemingly very specific search term), the second result is Loch Lomond near Newcastle, England.
As an example from search itself, below is the result for Cameron House (link here). The result is a location in London. This is the location ranked first within maps.
