@pixel so i did some more checking. I use Fedora Linux on my laptop - which is what i was using when i created this ticket. So as a test I also opened up apple & google maps on my laptop, and i get very similar results to kagi! So, from my perspective, this is more about how Linux handles geo location rather than a kagi issue!
(Background: So, there’s a Linux service called ‘geoclue2’ - which provides location services for most Linux users. Mozilla(?) used to provide the backend location database service, but they discontinued it in 2024; and location on Linux, has never been as good since!)
In my phone, kagi maps works perfectly btw!
