This is because 1024x1024 is frankly a tiny image size for anything other than less than full page web use. I don't know how much is a limit of the models, but I would suggest at least 12 megapixels.
There being a slash command or ideally a way to just say make my image 8MP or something. Maybe a drop down for image generation?
