I'd like to use the browser extension to enable Kagi incognito searches, but have misgivings about the Chrome Web Store and don't use it at all. The devs of some extensions (including uBlock Origin and Cookie Autodelete) retain github repositories where you can download and install the extension yourself. I presently use ungoogled-chromium, but recall that Vivaldi also did not used to come enabled for the Chrome Web Store by default (but unsure if this is still the case).
I imagine rather few Kagi users are clamoring to be able to download the extension directly, but I'd love it if this eventually were an option (especially if the extension were "open sourced" at some point) for users of Chromium forks who do curate their own browser extensions.
