Mistral model answers in a different language

I've been playing with psychosis-bench prompts and got this interaction with the Mistral model:

Despite being asked in English, it replies in Polish. My browser reports en-US, en as the only supported languages, though I am physically based in Poland.

Mistral Small now answers correctly in English. Mistral Large 3 still answers in Polish:

Hmm, I'd imagine this is a model thing but I'm not sure. @yiwei-1 mind chiming in?

I just ran into the same problem with Gemini 3 Flash (preview) model: asked the question in English, got the answer in Polish. It seems like the assistant is affected by UI language setting in Kagi, which is indeed Polish in my case. I also note that my browser has the following accepted languages setting: en-US, en, pl, pl-PL
