Recently I've been throwing a bunch of searches at Kagi in the format lyrics "artist" "title". While these generally yield OK results - though sometimes not as good as Google - they utterly fail for many Japanese songs. Here's a search for a very obscure song on Kagi (lyrics "Tenchi Muyo!" "皇女さまとお呼びッ(皇家の花婿教育) 歌:高田由美"):

And here's Google:

Note that the search phrase isn't necessarily a well-formed one: while the title is in kanji, the artist is written using Latin alphabet. And yet Google manages to find correct results. Even if I substitute "Tenchi Muyo" for the kanji version "天地無用", Kagi finds nothing.
Another example, and this time Kagi does manage to find something (lyrics "GARNiDELiA" "紅葉愛唄"):

But notice that Kagi only finds romanized version of the lyrics. Again, Google does a better job of finding the original text:

Finally, a case where Kagi does correctly find a result (lyrics "和楽器バンド" "千本桜"):

Notice that the second result is www.uta-net.com. This is the site that Google finds for the first query shown above. It seems that Kagi at least knows of this page, but still doesn't find it for the first query.
