I've noticed that when setting the "Mobile search bar" feature to "Bottom" and actually tapping on the search bar to type something in, the search bar jumps to the top and shows search suggestions below it. This is a little jarring to me and I personally think there should at least be an option to have stay at the bottom (swapping with the Lenses). It'll allow those with bigger screens to interact with the search bar easier and especially those who use their phone one handed/tap with their thumb.
As stated earlier, those with larger screens will be able to interact with the search bar easier. To compare, browser apps that allow the search bar to be at the bottom keep the search bar at the bottom/right above the keyboard when tapped on and shows search suggestions above it as shown in the picture (I'm using Ironfox).
