Not that long ago, it was possible to use a Quick Answer and continue with the question in the Assistant simply by clicking "Continue in the Assistant" button. Recently, this link has been replaced with a text field that allows to ask a follow-up question, and have that follow-up question answered in the Assistant. I find this flow problematic.
I would like to be able to continue in the Assistant without having to ask a follow up question, just like I could before. One of the motivations is that I want to continue the discussion using a custom prompt (c.f. Permit customization of Quick Answer prompt). Another is that I want to follow-up with a very long question and typing it in a single-line edit field is a major pain.
My proposed solution would be to turn the "Continue in the Assistant" header above the follow-up questions into a clickable link.
