When providing an image in .heic format to the AI assistant, instead of it being gracefully deemed unable to handle, the image is seemingly uploaded, but an error is thrown when sending the prompt.
Error: "InvalidStateError: An attempt was made to use an object that is not, or is no longer, usable".
Steps to replicate:
- Start an Assistant convo
- Upload a .heic image -> Image appears to upload just fine
- Send your prompt -> Error is thrown
I'd expect to either receive a message informing me that .heic is not a supported format, or have the assistant be able to use the image.
