RT absolutely provide a lot of disinformation, just like every news rag on the planet. They are the Russian equivalent of CNN or MSNBC.
Read both sides, and if you're lucky, you'll find some truth somewhere between them. More likely you'll just get two totally different lies that have no bearing on reality.
The point of news aggregation (and search for that matter) isn't to give one entity the ability to determine the truth for all viewers. It is to allow viewers to see all the information that exists, and to decide for themselves what the truth it.
Even in lies, there is some truth, because you get to learn what propaganda different sides are pushing. What IS useful, is understanding who has financial or other stake in the various outlets, so you can understand who is pushing what lies.
A useful function would be the ability to disable some sources you personally don't like, similar to with search. Or to provide data about the base country and ownership information of each source.
Otherwise, may as well just ask ChatGPT directly to tell you what to believe.
