Can't toggle off Assistant

When I go to settings --> Assistant, there is no way to toggle it off, and it keeps hijacking my searches and diverting me away from the web entirely to its exclusive interface. This started about ten minutes ago, and Assistant itself could not help me fix the problem.

I would like to be able to deactivate the AI entirely on my mobile browser.

are you adding a question mark at the end of your queries? if so, you're triggering 'Quick Answer', you can turn this off in the settings https://kagi.com/settings/ai

Nope. Just searched for a phrase: favorite season in Dallas
(Edit: wow I used "google " instead of search. Holy Kleenex and Xerox. I did indeed attempt to search with Kagi, not via the dysfunctional ad-serving platform known as Google.)

It shouldn't automatically happen. Is it possible you're accidentally pressing the (soon to be removed in a near future update) Quick Answer lighting bold icon in the bottom right of the mobile version?
