The selected search index is displayed instead of the globe symbol

I have just encountered the situation that the last selected search index was "Recipes" but my request was about software design which returned an output from the LLM informing me that no relevant information was found in the search index. The cheapest way to avoid this, is by displaying the selected search index if it is NOT the entire web...

When you say index do you mean lens?

OH yeah, good catch.
I think, personally, it makes sense to keep the lens you selected active for the entire duration of your session unless you change it.
BUT it should make it more clear, so maybe displaying the lens name if a lens is selected (sorry if that's what you're suggesting)
That would be better

So steps to repro:

open assistant
select a lens
do a prompt and send it
start a new thread
the lens is still selected (which again, is fine, but it should visually let the user know)

Thibaultmol I agree that in 90% of my personal use I stick to the same lens within a thread, but there are occasions where I e.g. start with "entire web" to then pivot to "academic" in order to find better references for the answers I am looking for. So the best suggestion would be to display the lens name as you nicely illustrated!
