CrunchyFritos Using the !ki bang no longer seems to get me to the "Ki Research" model and instead just loads Kagi Assistant with my default model. I expect the !ki bang to load the Ki Assistant.

CrunchyFritos I checked https://kagi.com/settings/custom_bangs and do not have any bang for !ki. When I use the !ki bang, I get the following assistant mode (Claude is my default model): But this is different from !ki which should show up like this:
CrunchyFritos Specifically, when I enter the !ki bang, I do see my browser redirect to https://kagi.com/search?q=!ki but that resolves to https://kagi.com/assistant which is my default model. Trying https://kagi.com/assistant?profile=ki does the same thing.
CrunchyFritos I see the behavior on my iOS, Windows PC, and MacBook using both Safari and Edge, so it doesn't seem to be device specific.
fxgn That's because !ki now opens the regular Ki model, not Ki Research. I don't know if sharing beta flags is allowed here, so you can check the Discord to enable Ki Quick and Ki.
tiltowait Set your default chat model to something other than Ki Research Search for e.g. !ki best headphones under $300 Observe that Assistant uses whatever default chat model you selected, not Ki Research !ki should use Ki Research—the name's in the bang. This used to be the standard behavior, but it changed a few weeks ago.
Thibaultmol @tiltowait so what do your custom assistants go to? (do they go to the ki profile? if so, then it's the same problem.
