Create another pricing model for users to purchase Kagi Ultimate for a one-off fee forever. This could give kagi funding for investment while also securing users for life.

Alternatively, allow users to purchase multi-year subscriptions

New package available, even if for a limited time, to allow users to purchase lifetime Ultimate without having to renew

Lifetime promises don't work. They're either empty lie or short-sighted decision.

You can already put pre paid credit on Kagi and just let your subscription run from there

Unfortunately lifetime plans just aren't possible for us. Software packages are able to offer them as there's no ongoing cost, whereas each search for us obviously costs money. If you really wanted a lifetime package, assuming the Professional plan and normal usage, it'd have to be 10 * 12 * 80 = 9600 dollars (10 dollars a month, 12 months a year, 80 years avg. lifespan).
This would be functionally the same as prepaid credits though, so really we already have a lifetime sub if you really want 🙂
