RichardM OpenAI have made GPT-5-Pro available through the API now. Could it be available in Assistant for Ultimate subscribers please. I see a user using it the same as the o3-pro model, but better (and 50% more expensive!).
laiz The Kagi AI Lead shared the following in the Kagi Discord server: It takes >2min to give an answer at all and is 150% the price of opus reasoning for little overall gain. We decided not to expose it to users unless there's a reason to because the UX of it is atrocious; you spend one or more dollars on an answer you don't even see for minutes (no reasoning / thinking tokens comes in except the hmmm) Leads to people launching a prompt wasting significant money just to think it's broken and try something else So it didn't pass our quality bar in that sense
