Some types of images cannot be found via the "similar images" button, but can be via image search

Using the image search button in the corner:

On some content yields this:

Yet works fine when copy-pasting it into image search:

I expected the same results when searching for the same image. Oddly enough, this issue does not appear to be consistent. I did get results for a different image in the results:

Trying this again, finding images using the search fraze "verkiezingsposter", I get more weird behaviour:

I tested in firefox and chrome
I tested a bunch more than shown here
also tested with the query "pizza", because I love pizza

Clicking the image search button for these two results:

Partially broken results:

Or no results:

However when copy pasting the image that had no results (instead of using the image search button):

Unfortunately tho, this does not make a different for the image with broken results:
