On the current Assistant UI, it's very hard to scan longer discussions visually, as there is only a minimal spacing separation between question and answer. I would suggest to change the styling to emphasize the question sent in. This should make reading back long discussions easier.
Quite a few applications handle this with providing chat-style bubbles. I would not necessarily say that's the right way; more minimal visual clues (e.g. different background color, a side border line, different typography) could achieve the same result.
