Option to make Assistant model selection window static or move it to header row

What does your feature entail?
My proposal is an option or setting for any of the below ideas:
1) Make the assistant model selection window static (not disappear while typing)
2) Move it back to the header row where it was previously (to the left of the new thread button).
3) Enclose the text input area and assistant model selection window with a border similar to mobile or small screen view. Example Screenshot

What is it for? How will it affect existing workflows or user experience?
Minor accessibility change for individuals with ADD by reducing unnecessary animations on the webpage.

Purpose
As someone with ADD, the new design for the assistant model selector is extremely distracting and breaks my focus mid prompt. The option to make the window static or move it to a different location would be a great relief on my ADD.

I would vote for option 2, I'm not a huge fan of the floating bar it's just annoying and in the way like Zoom meeting controls 🙂 (it was annoying enough to make me create an account here and hunt down this thread.)

I don't like the new position either. I am not switching models so often. For me it was perfect to have the selector on the top. Now its very distracting, and I do not understand how this improves anyones workflow. I am constantly trying to place this thing somewhere else but its doesnt move. 😃

The new position seems to be optimized for switching LLMs mid-thread.
Oftentimes though, I'm resubmitting the original prompt on the new LLM.
The new spot isn't so great for this, it requires a lot of scrolling. It's not the end of the world though.

I noticed the other day the assistant model selection window is now static (no longer "blinks") and I wanted to follow up to say thank you immensely for this change!

I know it's a pretty small, low-priority, item to change, but I can't state enough how much I appreciate it as someone that struggles with very severe ADD. A lot of sites today seem to disregard accessibility in favor of promoting engagement or creating flashy UI designs, so, it means a lot to me that you listened and took my feedback seriously.
