gaki Steps to reproduce: Do a search. Click into the search bar. Attempt to move caret with keyboard. Expected behavior: Caret moves left with left arrow key. Caret moves right with right arrow key. Debug info: Firefox 103.0.2 macOS 12.5.1 Image/Video: https://share.cleanshot.com/AsDRjpoNWrNSECuHj6OD
gaki Vlad I've turned off ad blocker etc. and same problem persists. I've also just tried Safari, which doesn't have any extensions installed, this also has the same issue.
Vlad gaki It could be but I can not produce unwanted behavior so something else may be triggering it.
snows gaki By that logic shouldn't up and down be affected as well? For me its only left and right that aren't working but up and down will go through the list of recommended queries.
kanamu I have the exact same issue as @gaki . Also Firefox and macOS in the same versions. Moving the cursor with the arrow keys works fine everywhere else (for example on google.com or within this very text field I'm typing this in). So I think it is an issue on kagi.
lw1 Same issue here with Firefox 103.0.2 on Linux (Debian Testing). Disabling the keydown event that calls handleKeyPress in the developer tool fixes the issue.
HazeLee I also has same issue here with Orion / Chrome in macOS 12.5.1. I tried with Incognito mode with Pure status with Kagi Extension in Chrome. But search bar does not move caret in keyboard too. I feel it is urgent and important.
gaki Looks to be fixed now, thanks 🙂 @Vlad did you work out why you couldn't see the issue but others could? Running a dev version or something?
