Currently, there is no way for users to tell which Kagi News feeds are community-made and which are maintained by the Kagi team ("core" feeds, e.g. technology/world/business). While the drop-down in the category selection does include a "core" category, it is not clear that non-core categories are community-maintained (see below).

Since the source selection and quality of results between these feeds can differ significantly, add an indicator to clearly indicate this distinction.
One way to differentiate the categories in the selector would be with a different color and corresponding legend, but other indicators are of course also possible.
By indicating the core feeds differently from community feeds and informing the user clearly about the distinction, the user can make a more informed decision about which feeds to subscribe to. Moreover, a potentially lower quality result in community-driven feeds will be less likely to be attributed as an issue of Kagi News itself.
