I understand and value the limited update schedule (Midday UTC). Not sure how the actual content is curated, if this is manual or automatic.

Could I please kindly suggest a feature to make that update on local time. And more importantly to update at 7am or a specific time in the morning? Even an option in settings to choose would be great. Most newspapers, due to traditional printing, publish their new articles overnight and there's a wealth of new information available in the morning. By 12pm, the prior days news is potentially stale (even if we are avoiding the noise).

An option in settings for 7am or noon update. Timezone determined by system flag.

The first story on my news feed this morning is stale and out of date. There's no way to refresh the app to get an updated story. This makes no sense to me. This is not a newspaper. The top story in my feed today is about the looming us government shutdown. The shutdown happened. 9 hours ago at this point but that's nowhere in the feed.

I just wanted to write in support of this proposal. Here in Europe UTC 12.00 is 14.00 (15.00 if in Greece). The earlier the start the better. UTC 7am would be midnight in California, and 9am in most of continental Europe. Seems ideal.

A twice daily update timed to help those even further East (e.g. UTC 7am and UTC 7pm) and to follow the old morning and evening paper schedule would be ideal. But that's a different conversation.
