Currently, Kagi News requires users to select one category at a time (e.g., tech, science, politics) to view news items, which creates a siloed browsing experience. This forces users to manually switch between categories to get a comprehensive view of the news landscape.
The proposed feature would add an "All" option to the category selector that displays articles from all categories in a unified feed. Each news item would have a small, unobtrusive tag indicating its category (e.g., "Tech", "Science", "Business"), allowing users to quickly identify the content type while browsing all news simultaneously.
Users could start with the "All" view and then filter to specific categories for deeper exploration.
Implementation should add an "All" option to the category selector that aggregates content from all categories. Each article in the unified feed should have a small tag showing its source category (similar to how Reddit shows subreddit names or how Feedly tags sources).
Adding to the Kagi search tag since Kagi news tag is not yet available
