The current domain (kite.kagi.com) uses the Kite codename of Kagi News, which is confusing, because from what I can see, the Kite name is not used anywhere else - everywhere the service is mentioned, it's called Kagi News.
I would expect a service called Kagi News to be located at news.kagi.com. In fact, even though I used it in the beta when it was called Kite, I still assumed that since it's now released as Kagi News, it must be accessible under news.kagi.com, and tried opening it with that address.
Currently it opens the News tab or Kagi Search, which has been updated to use Kite, but for users without a Kagi account it just shows a login wall. It also doesn't have any customisation like Kagi News does.
I think the kite.kagi.com domain should be phased out (and changed to a redirect to news.kagi.com), and news.kagi.com should point to the full version of Kite/Kagi News.
