Kagi news - fair treatment of source websites

AI summaries are killing the internet and I can’t morally contribute to that by using Kagi News unless some sort of benefit it still provided to the source sites that News uses to compile its AI summaries.

I couldn’t find any info from Kagi about how the news sources feeding Kagi News are fairly treated by the service.

There needs to be some sort of documentation of how Kagi News benefits news outlets / original source instead of castrating them

By the way, Kagi News doesn't scrape news websites or bypass their paywalls in any way - it gets all the information from publicly accessible official RSS feeds that the websites themselves publish to allow aggregating news from their site

Our goal long term, if Kagi News was ever to make (substanital) profit, to share this automatically with publishers participating in news being consumed. Until then it is basically an advanced RSS aggregator and publishers are in full control of what is being aggregrated.
