I wanted to add an emoji to my reusable assistant thread so that it stands out more. When I attempted to use my Apple's emoji keyboard, the rename input kept losing focus. So, I decided to copy the emoji to my clipboard and paste it into the textfield. There are a few issues
- The textfield doesn't show the actual place the cursor is. It clips and it appears that the first several characters are not visible (lowers confidence that where I am pasting is the correct spot).
- When I do paste using my keyboard shortcut, it doesn't appear initial in the still editable textfield and shifts the view to where I'd expect it to be initially.
- I paste again and it shows up with one emoji. On this screen, I click off and it appears with one emoji, but upon refresh there's actually two emojis. You can see this happening without refreshing by viewing the title of the tab.
I've attached a video of this happening below:
- When editing and going to the beginning of the textfield, I expect to see the blinking cursor indicator at the beginning without clipping any of the text
- When pasting in an emoji, I expect it to show the first time I paste it
- I would expect to be able to use my emoji keyboard (both Apple and Windows) without losing focus on the textfield.
