Allow search settings to be set until changed, or enhance what lenses can cover

The title is a bit vague, but here's what I want to do.

For a project I'm working on, I want searches to be limited to the past year. For each search, or at least each tab, I have to manually choose that from the Time menu. I would like to be able to lock this setting from the Time menu until I change it back. Alternately, lenses could be expanded to go beyond just websites but also to include country, time, order, and other options.

In the meantime you can set up a custom bang that uses the filters you want.

For limiting to the past year, I have one that goes to https://kagi.com/search?q=%s&dr=4

Yes, but I need to add that to each search. It would be easier if there was a way to save settings as a lens, because often I want multiple options.

Why not set it up as a bang for now, till someway is added. So that way you can still have multiple options

Yes, I think for now using Bangs would be the best option for you. We can explore this functionality if other users would like it though 🙂
