I am able to reproduce this "strange visual bug" using Safari 26.0 on macOS 26.0.
P.S.: An additional issue concerning reference citations in Assistant is reported here. Citations are important. They connect the Assistant output to the original sources on which that output is based. Hopefully, the Kagi development team will devote some effort to this area.
