When looking for information where it is relevant to find updated or current knowledge the very useful deep research assistant appends "2024" to its queries.
Steps to replicate :
- Open assistant.
- Enter query with a temporal component.
- Examine search terms.
A toy example is attached below. This also occurs when using queries that rely on technological or scientific progress, or generally other queries where I as human would add the current year too.
Desired Behaviour :
Assistant uses the current year when searching for results. The desired behaviour appears after the correct current year is added to the context (here through a query).
