It'd be nice if websites linking to a geo: URI could open in Kagi Maps. It looks like this should be possible to add to the Kagi browser extension at least, as I stumbled across this extension which adds a few different mapping sites as options.
While not super common, geo: URIs let websites link to a location similar to how mailto: links to an email address. For example, https://fosdem.org/2026/practical/transportation/ has a "Geo URI" link as well as Google Maps or OSM. Supporting this would make it easier for Kagi users to directly open Kagi Maps from these.
