It would be very convenient for users who frequently access the same web pages or documents if the translation results could be cached locally. This is especially true for web page translation, where a large amount of text needs to be requested at once. Since the translation results are already saved locally, subsequent translations can be retrieved directly from the cache, significantly improving speed and efficiency, as well as saving on translation resources.
The TWP extension provides an option in the settings to save translation caches, as well as the ability to manually clear these caches. This helps prevent the caches from taking up too much storage space on the hard drive.
However, I think a more convenient setting would be available, such as the option to automatically clear the caches when the browser is restarted, or to set a schedule for automatic cache clearance, for example, every week or every 30 days.
