Programming lens doesn't work

The default built-in programming lens doesn't seem to work at all.

For Computer Science concepts like the binary tree algorithm, I expect this lens to work. It also doesn't work for other concepts like curl.

I expected to have some programming snippets from GitHub and discussions from Stack Overflow about Binary Trees and cURL.

I think it might be a problem with their crawler.

It seems to be an issue when the country/location filter isn't bold (i think active?) then the lens doesn't work. See the video of it working and not working.

I have it set to international and it doesn't seem to work for most queries:

But "alter syntax in SQL" doesn't:

We've pushed some fixes which may alleviate this issue if people are able to test

It seems to work now. I have not been able to reproduce the bug yet. Thank you so much for the fix!

Unfortunately it seems like it's not 100% fixed for all searches. Its broken when you search for "vcert playbook". There are results from pkg.go.dev and github.com that I expect also in the Programming Lens view.

Hello, I noticed that the Issue got the "Done" Tag applied to it. However the search for vcert playbook still doesn't seem to return any result when using the programming lens.

Can somebody clarify if the following domains aren't supposed to be shown with the "Programming" lens:

pkg.go.dev
github.com
pypi.org

These domains show up in the search results, when you don't use any specific lens.

Those domains, excluding pypi it seems - are within the programming lens.
We'll look into it again and get this fixed, thanks for flagging that it was not fixed.

Heya, we finally found the slippery root cause of some programming lens searches failing, due to some fallback code that wasn't being utilized. We still plan to completely overhaul the programming lens as part of our internal indexing efforts, which should hopefully be a serious level up over what we can do via upstream indexes.
