An extension of mindless scrolling is mindless app clicking looking for that next dopamine hit. I don’t want this app on my homescreen.

The analog equivalent here should be that the newspaper lands on your doorstep (notification), then you read it once (dismiss) and go on with your day.

Yes, but if it is added please have the feature of turning off specifc types of notifications(I don't want a daily digest), and the ability to turn off and on specific news publications

I'd like to have an option in the parameters to have a daily notification, ideally at a time of my choosing, to remind me to check the news. The app would launch from the notification. The reason is that it's too easy to forget to open the app daily.

I imagine a daily notification, around a time at which I'm likely to have some free time, to remind me to check the news. The notification would contain a link to open Kagi news.
