The background colour for white logo images should be changed away from black. It is misleading and makes it unclear (before clicking on the image) whether it is a logo without a background or a logo with a black background. See the below screen recording for reference.
A good alternative would be a darker grey version of the white/grey background that appears when you click on the image. I understand Google uses a black background too but I don't think that's a good solution.
