Kagi lets me create a lens that includes posts from the last month or last year, but not from before the last month or last year. It would be nice to have a lens setting that works like this, so that I can quickly check out the background of a big news story without getting results from "the fray".
Additionally, the lens integration in Assistant would make this useful, because I could have a Custom Assistant who always knows about thinks that are (ex) from last year or older!
Preferred implementation: allow us to select offsets in the date range box for lenses
Cheap implementation: add "before a month ago" and "before a year ago" to the current Date Range dropdown in Advanced Settings.
