A built-in visual search tool, like Google Lens, that lets users upload or snap a photo to find where to buy, discuss, or learn more about anything in the image, such as a pair of shoes, or a funky hat. An Assistant button can be a shortcut to ask AI something like, ‘What is this and where can I find it?’.
It could also be used to read and solve handwritten questions or equations found in person.
Say I see some shoes I really liked in a random image online, or in-person somewhere and really wanted to see where I could possibly find them, I can upload that image or take a picture of them and Kagi would search for those shoes everywhere giving me a list or grid of potential matches from various websites, like online stores, forum posts, or even social media posts for extra context. Basically just like Google Lens, but without all the bad that comes with Google.
