Allow the Kagi Android app to register as a system-wide browser (i.e., handle android.intent.category.APP_BROWSER) so any app—Nova Launcher, home-screen search bars, long-press “Web search,” etc.—can open results directly in a signed-in Kagi session without an extra step or duplicate browser.
Nova Launcher’s search bar opens my default browser, which is configured to clear cookies on exit. This forces me to sign in to Kagi every time, so I keep a second browser app installed solely for Kagi searches, which is a little clunky since I already have the Kagi app installed, having a dedicated browser for it seems silly.
