Kagi videos/marketing on other platforms

Kagi already posts good quality, engaging and good looking posts and videos on various platforms such as Twitter/X and YouTube but it could try to get a little more attention.

I suggest for the Kagi marketing/discovery team to expand their reach in other places like Odysee or collaborating with different online creators especially in the tech/privacy sectors.

I think this would be a good way to entice more users to use Kagi search and possibly its other products. Since Kagi is tiny any discovery is good at this stage.

Uploading (or even simply syncing YouTube channel videos) on Odysee could also help spread the word since the platform is all about free speech, privacy consciousness, breaking up monopolies and discovering new things. It features big names such as Veritasium and Louis Rossman.

In addition to being on X, Instagram, Threads, Bluesky, YouTube and LinkedIn, Kagi is promoting on tiny niche platforms like Mastodon, PixelFed, TILvids/PeerTube and Nostr!

@InternetChunk I think there was some discussion of Odysee at some point, not entirely sure tho. Do you have any other platforms in mind?

RoxyRoxyRoxy Aside from Odysee one could also consider Rumble. However, I think it’s important to focus on rational spread. I suggested Odysee, because its not big but not overly niche either with viewership around or slightly smaller than Rumble. Posting on too many or tiny sites that would gain Kagi less than let’s say 20 likes from new people on posts is rather useless and a waste of resources and time.
I have not heard of half of the platforms Dustin wrote for example.
