Image previews should include information on reuse/licences, next to upload date etc.
Google has a feature similar to this, although I don't believe it's particularly well thought out.
The licence that each image holds should be displayed (linking back to my previous suggestion, #6651, the way these are phrased still needs work: Public, Share, etc. isn't clear enough). If the licence is unknown, a label stating as much and saying the website should be visited to clarify (or something along those lines) would be good — the reason I say that is because uploaded images are often under Creative Commons because the entire website is, but the individual images aren't.
