I use the Safari Extension on macOS with DDG set as my browser search engine. The extension normally works well, but occasionally after I've clicked on a search result and start reading it, I'll randomly get redirected back to the Kagi search results list. Thankfully this adds a new history entry so I can just hit Back to get back to the page I was at, but it's always very surprising.
I actually hadn't seen this for a bit lately and thought maybe it was fixed, but I just got a new variant of this using bangs. I used !rfc 5652 and clicked on an anchor link and was reading it, and then randomly got redirected back to the unanchored page root, which I assume is the same problem as search results except the "search results" here is a bang redirect.
I haven't noticed any pattern to when this happens, it's rather infrequent, and it's only a mild nuisance as I can just hit Back, but I'd prefer it to not happen at all.
The expected functionality here is that it doesn't randomly occasionally redirect back to the search results.
