I've noticed that when I find a place on maps, and I hit one of the "discover nearby" options it gives me a little loading spinner:
Which is nice! However, after clicking one of the nearby things and then going back, this spinner appears again. Same goes for every nearby thing I look at and go back from.
Either the caching system is ridiculously slow, or you're racking up unnecesary api costs. Either way it's annoying that pressing back takes a good 5 seconds.
The search results were already loaded, I'd like them to stay that way. At least while I'm actively using that tab.
