Just two small suggestions for the drop-down menu's visual interface. First, when clicking on it, the Add new button is highlighted. This shouldn't be the case. Second, the card breakdown view of each model should be ephemeral, in that when a user moves their cursor off the list, the card disappears. See the below screen recording for reference. These small changes would make interactions with the UI cleaner.
