The same thing happens to me—an example with the "ES - ca" region: when I search for Amazon, instead of showing me Amazon.es it shows Amazon.co.uk:

However, the Catalan version of Google (https://www.google.com/?hl=ca) does show it correctly Amazon.es:

With the AD region (Andorra) it's exactly the same it shows the .co.uk version of Amazon when logically it should display the .es one, since the official languages of Andorra are Catalan and Spanish, and as there’s no official Catalan version of Amazon, it should default to the second option, which is Spanish .es:

In the case of the Wikipedia widget, it's also annoying that it doesn't adapt to certain regions; for "ES - ca" it shows the Spanish version of Wikipedia when there is indeed a Catalan alternative, Viquipèdia (https://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/):

However, the Catalan version of Google (https://www.google.com/?hl=ca) does display the widget correctly using Viquipèdia for the language of this region "ES - ca" (https://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/):
