A setting to optionally toggle off all links to the Kagi Assistant. I’ve had a few moments where my cellular connection is just bad enough the quick answer button for the assistant is accidentally clicked when clicking “Show More/Less”. This automatically triggered the assistant to use tokens to respond.
This would also hide it from the “Kagi Apps” menu, and hide the Assistant button on the mobile view.
This would not disable other features that may rely on AI inline, just hide anything linking to the Kagi Assistant to prevent generating AI token usage.
This would just offer users the ability to visibly or functionally disable the Kagi Assistant if they do not wish to utilise it, purposefully or accidentally.
