More information on AI models

It's awesome that this suggestion was implemented, however, in the interest of transparency, I strongly suggest including information on:

open- or closed-source
company or organization behind the model, e.g. Meta, Google, X etc.

The original suggestion included this, as do the info cards by DuckDuckGo.

This helps users make more informed decisions on which model to use. For some (like myself), price or quality of the models are less important than what company they are made by and whether or not they are open-source.

As far as I know, only DuckDuckGo offers this information freely. But Kagi as a company should support open-source software by at least mentioning this in the models offered in Kagi Assistant.

tbf, I do think there should be link to that page in Assistant somewhere, so I don't blame you for not having seen/read it.

Is this page enough info? Do you feel like anything is missing?
Where do you think it should be linked to in the Assistant UI (something I personally think should be done, but don't really know where it's best to put, I guess in the model picker ui somewhere)

Thanks for the info. This is exactly what I was looking for. Should definitely be linked in the model picker. I have a couple suggestions here:

There's a lot of info on the page, but I do feel it's missing whether or not the model is proprietary or open-source. I feel like this could be handled by using icons in the UI, similar to how DuckDuckGo does it:
